Bobbi The Reindeer

Introducing Bobbi the Reindeer! We Created Bobbi for the 2018 McDonalds #ReindeerReady christmas advert at Framestore.

One of the main challenges was creating a realistic reindeer that would have enough expression to convey subtle anthropomorphic emotions. To achieve this, we studied countless hours of Reindeer footage and photographs and even visited a reindeer farm to gather as much reference as possible.

I was Asset Lead on the job, and worked on texturing, look-dev, lighting, facial rig and blendshapes of Bobbi and his fellow Reindeer.
It was really enjoyable to see him come to life, just in time for Christmas!
